Before                                                                              After

During this project using photoshop, I put eight tattoos on Selena Gomez. The tattoos I put on her include the broken heart on her neck, the bleeding rose and cassette tape on her right arm, a cross on her right wrist, a microphone on her lower left arm. a roll of film and the Japanese word for love on her left leg, and the words love yourself on her left shoulder. I pick all of these tattoos for specific reasons. I picked the broken heart because she’s been through a lot of pain in  her love life. I picked the bleeding rose to represent all her sadness and pain of how she felt during and before rehab. I gave her a cassette tape since she produced this tv show called 13 reasons why. I tattooed her with a role of camera film to represent that she’s been in a lot of movies. I gave her a cross tattoo because she is very religious and always has faith/hope. I put a microphone tattoo on her to show her love for music and I made it look more faded then the rest of the tattoos to represent that she’s been making music since she was 16. And finally I picked the words love yourself and the Japanese word for love to show how she was coped with her anxiety and depression and learned to love herself first. The tools I used on this project include the transform tool, eraser, zoom, move, and warp tool. I mostly used to warp tool on this project because I felt it was more effective and made the tattoos look more realistic.

For this photography assignment I decided to use a tree as the subject of my photo because it can’t move and looks cool with the wind and sky in the back round.  The hardest part of this project was taking long shot and medium shot of the tree because the look so similar so I tried to use different angles.

For this project I studied photography and had to take 5 different types of shots : extreme long shot, long shot, medium shot, close up, and extreme close up.  I decided to have my dog be my model because she was really tired, didn’t want to move, and looked really cute.  I would say the hardest shot to take was the extreme long shot because it was hard to tell if she was going to move or not.

Final South park Project 3/3

Capture1

This is the final adobe illustrator animation of my own personalized South Park character.  To create the head, hands, and feet I used the ellipse tool and manipulated some of points to get the specific shapes I wanted. I used the rectangle tool to create my legs, arms, and shoulders. I used the pen tool to create the eyebrows,  eyes,  headphones, necklace, and body.  I created 13 different mouthes so when I animate my character in adobe illustrator they can change depending on my tone and emotions.   I also have a rose that I made with the pen tool turned off in the right hand layer. The hardest part of animating this character for me was probably making the glasses. I was torn between using the rectangle, ellipse, and pen tool, as well as getting the frames for the two eyes to connect in the middle.

Gang of Ninjas

NIJNa

In this project I learned how to animate a gang of ninjas, using tools such as the ellipse tool and the pen tool.  I used the stroke tool to apply outer border lines to each of the ninjas, trying to give a more cartoon presence. I made most of the outer strokes 3 pt. I would say the hardest part of this project was creating the ninja star and numchuks, since the ninja star had to be edited a certain way and creating the arrangement for the numchuks chain took a while as well.

Create a Hippo

HIPPO

In this project I used the software Adobe Illustrator to create this hippo. I used the ellipse tool to create the head, the pen tool to draw the arms and ears, and I used the text tool to make the text box as well as the word hippo. I would say the most difficult thing about this project was creating the arms, since they’re not a specific shape.

Border Paths

border_paths copy

For this practice I outlined and traced different styles of border paths, mostly wave paths.  This practice was way less complicated than the last two.  I would say the corner point wave border was probably my favorite to outline since it was the same movement over and over, as well as the fact that its satisfying to look at.
